My wife(Leslie) and I would like to know where we stand. We successfully completed a short sale in Henderson,NV, on 17DEC2010. We have had a credit report run on 27sep2011 and the scores are:BRIAN(EFX=678)(XPN=727)(TUC=704)
LESLIE (EFX=665)(XPN=713)(TUC=698)
During the short sale proceedings we were forced to default on our loans(BOA, and Citimort)
At this time leslie and I are renting a home and have a lease that ends mid-April.
We would like to get a pre-approval sometime in mid january so we may have time to research available homes for sale.
what i would like to know is what type of interest rate we can qualify for.
I expect to gross approx.$80,000 this year and Leslie approx. $52,000.

We need to explore what you mean about defaulting on those 2 loans and take a look at what your credit report SAYS, not just the scores.
